Description

Info from our supplier:

Blown by hand. They are all blown with one hole in the bottom end of the egg (approx 7mm hole). After the hole is drilled the yoke is mushed up with a bit of wire then it is blown out the same hole with a bike pump. After the contents are all blown out all eggs have disinfectant sprayed into them and shaken around to clean all the leftover contents out of the egg. They are then blown out and washed and ready for sale.

Supplier is licensed and license number is included with your egg.

Emu eggs have all been collected from farmed birds. They collect the eggs once a day during the laying season which runs between April and September

-All eggs have a single 7mm hole in their base

-All eggs are dark green in colour

All eggs have the licence number as required by National Park Legislation

License: MWL000100459

Something to be aware of with emu eggs is they will change colour over time due to the effects on the shell of UV light. Emu eggs left in the sun will become black and then bleached white if left in full sun over a year. If you want to keep the dark green for as long as possible keep it out of direct sunlight.
